This is a perfect opportunity for an existing Senior Nursery Nurse or a highly experienced Nursery Nurse with a real passion for childcare who are looking to develop and further career prospects within a new setting.
The successful candidate will in the absence of the Nursery Manager undertake the overall day-today management of the nursery along with ensuring that all children receive the highest standards of care and education. Along with promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues, the Deputy Manager would assist with the recruitment and induction of new staff and supervise the staff within the rooms and lead the promotion of health, safety and wellbeing to of the children.
The Deputy Manager will need to promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children and assist the Manager will the collection, recording and banking of fees. Above all, you will ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
It is essential that the successful candidate has 2 years of post qualification experience, have NNEB/NVQ3 or above and is fluent on the new EYFS curriculum along with having an in depth knowledge of relevant policies and procedures in nursery settings.
