Leicester Mercury Article:

“An organisation which has provided care for babies, toddlers and pre-school children for 20 years has marked its anniversary by opening a new centre in Narborough.

St George’s Nursery School, with its trademark toddler dragon mascot, has other centres in Enderby, Aylestone, Oadby and Leicester city centre and has organised a series of fund-raising events as part of its celebrations.

One fete has raised £175.93 for Healing Little Hearts, a charity which sends specialist medical teams to Western India to perform life-saving heart operations on babies and children.

The new nursery was officially opened by the Lord Mayor of Leicester Councillor John Thomas, who was taken on a tour of the building by directors Birju and Jaimie Ghelani.

The former derelict NHS building in Leicester Road, Narborough, was transformed into a centre for 60 children .
